Hello Agile Testing Meetup members,
I am pleased to announce our next group meetup will be taking place on 11th February 2010 at 6.30pm, and is kindly being hosted by SkillsMatter.
ACCEPTANCE-TEST DRIVING DEVELOPMENT - BRING DEVELOPERS AND TESTERS TOGETHER
Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) are powerful techniques, helping developers write better designed, more maintainable and more reliable code, and stay focused on the real user requirements. But how does the rest of the team fit in to the picture?
In this talk, we will look at how BDD techniques, and tools such as easyb and FitNesse, can also act as drivers for the overall development process, and also as communication tools, giving testers and end-users clear and unambiguous feedback on what is being developed and where it is at in terms of delivery and schedule.
Please note, that if you want to attend the meetup, you will need to sign-up via the Skillsmatter page for this event, which can be found at http://skillsmatter.c...
Finally, for those of you who find this kind of topic interesting, I recommend you check out John's blog at http://www.wakaleo.co.... Also, his Power Tools Newsletter is full of useful information and tips - http://www.wakaleo.co....
Look forward to seeing you all at the meetup!

Hanselminutes: Understanding BDD and NSpec with Matt Florence and Amir Rajan
Published 9 years ago, running time 0h34m
Scott sits down with NSpec authors Matt Florence and Amir Rajan to talk about Behavior Driven Development (BDD). Where does one start with BDD? Is BDD just TDD with a fancier name or can it really chance how you design software? The NSpec guys set Scott on the right path.
