Date: Tuesday 15 July 2008........Changing business requirements are the bugbear of the application developer. The Windows Workflow Engine allows business rules to be modelled in a graphical environment, possibly by a business analyst rather than the developer, making changes easier to accommodate. This talk explains the concepts behind Windows Workflow Foundation and demostrates its use. All code samples demonstrated will be making use of the .NET Framework version 3.0. For a preview of the slides and sample code please visit: http://www.benlamb.com/talks/#workflow PLEASE ARRIVE FROM 18.00 READY FOR PROMPT 18.30 START

    DevEvening: Christmas CodeFest

    76km away in Woking

This time we're trying something different:We all learn in different ways. While it can be good to learn by hearing people present and demonstrate new techniques, it can also be good to learn by seeing how different people solve the same problem.  That's what we hope to do at the CodeFest. The plan is for everyone to write automated players for a simple game.  Don't worry if this sounds complicated, it will only involve implementing an interface containing 4 methods.
