(Note that we moved real-time game/app development event to June)
At our April 27th discussion of Android Tools many of you suggested that we get together for an informal Hacker/Coder session.
To quote our member Keith M. Williams, I envision [this session] as a simple way for people to describe what they are building at a deeper level than they can in the general meetup. At this time, so much of Android knowledge appears to reside in inter-personal networks, and this would be an additional way to "spread the info".
So, we are looking for 5-15 of you who wish to take 2-20 minutes each and demo your apps/code/design-patterns, or simply ask for suggestions/help with something you don't quite know how to tackle.
To get organized, I setup the following discussion thread where you can tell us if you would like to participate.
Let's make this happen! This is going to be an awesome event: for community, by community!
Pizzas/drinks will be sponsored by Sarah Samuel from Technology Credit Union and coffee will be provided by Nicholas Koch from Nestle Taster's Choice. As before, we'll have plenty of interesting give-aways!
