Longtime group member "true" will conduct a security demonstration on an embedded touch panel containing open source software. Results are not guaranteed, and all are invited to participate. We hope to have a portable wireless connection for online research and general goofing off during the meeting.
All the local establishments in Las Vegas with wifi have been visited, and have ambient noise levels that make speaking difficult. This week we're testing a portable Clear 4G connection at the Red Zone bar in the Gold Coast Casino, and will have our meeting there on May 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM.
The Gold Coast is one block west of I-15 on Flamingo at Valley View, across the street from the Rio and the Palms. Beer at the Red Zone is $1 from 5-10 PM. Stay thirsty, and see you at the meeting!
