A talk by Victor Czenter:
Performance testing is a labour-intensive activity and demand special knowledge of various technologies and management of complex system landscape. Load and performance tests are complex tests meant to assess the performance of application systems under realistic or expected load scenarios. These tests are used for validation and verification of quality attributes like scalability, reliability and resource demand.
Software performance can be assessed or tested through all phases of the software development process, at different levels, for different layers, from different perspectives and with different purposes.
Victor Czenter will introduce general technical and organizational concepts of the performance testing process. You will learn about performance tools and methods and how to bind them effectively and efficiently in the development process for Java based applications. The presentation addresses software developers, architects, testers, test manager but also project manager and business unit managers.

Victor Czenter leaves in Munich, Germany and is performance engineer for a IT consulting company specialized in software engineering, testing and performance engineering. He is the technical lead architect of the inhouse build performance test management and automation tool.
