On Persistence Layers, with an Application to the Trennung von Anliegen Problem
Regardless of you data access technology (e.g. ADO.NET, LINQ to SQL, Entity Framework, NHibernate, etc.), the design of your persistence layer can make or break an application. Add to this, data which is sourced and saved from/to remote web services (e.g. SOAP and REST) can also add complexity to the mix. This discussion will weave a story of how to craft well architected, testable, and scalable persistence layer implementations.
