Dear Smart Networkers,

Sales are the life blood of any business. Most small business owners do not have a dedicated sales team and as a result their revenue is constrained by their ability to sell.

Becoming excellent at sales is undoubtedly the paramount skill of owning a small business. It is not hard to learn, and it pays dividends throughout your working life.

In this meetup we will cover:

1.The mindset of successful selling.

2.The three step formula for sales.

3.Effective closing techniques.

We will follow a structured format :
6:15-6:30pm - open networking/refreshments

6:30-6:35pm - member spotlight presentation

6:30-7:00pm - Interactive educational program

7:00-7:20pm - Introduce yourself to the group in 30 secs elevator pitch

7:20-8:00pm - Connect yourself to your perfect referrals (We will tell you how)

Cost: It is only $15 prepaid including refreshments, or $20 cash/door.
I am looking forward to meet you all in this insightful evening of networking.

I felt like this meetup helped me get in touch with myself and with other people. Dr. Kool encouraged me with his analogies. I feel motivated to take some steps to improve myself and the way I'm doing things. It was great to meet other people from similar & different industries and to network a bit.

In the Driver's Seat: How MSpec and BDD Will Make You a Better Programmer

4 miles away in New York

SummaryBehavior driven development has been around for a long time. With the help of Dave Chelimsky (RSpec) it's been fully embraced in the Ruby community. As a long time Ruby developer I learned how BDD helps create expressive specs that lead to high quality software. I've since learned how to harness these practices and apply them to .NET development.
