  I am a ASP.NET beginner. What is Sharepoint? How well it is helpful? Is there any ebook available for Sharepoint?

  Sharepoint is a service which works along IIS 6.0. The basic concept behind using Sharepoint is creating Portals, i.e., having a huge big web site containing various areas. (.NET) is used to generally to create web-parts. you can find an e-book on

  for sharepoint. I would suggest go through the help of Sharepoint provided with it...its a complete course in itself.
