  i am writing data into a file  using stream writer. how can align data while writing  into a file like font, spacing,so that it should be displayed in that file.

  Can you give some additional information about this? i.e In what kind of application, you are going to write data? For example, Word or Text file

  Need to know type of file you are saving it to and where it is coming from.

  Need to know if you are just trying to save from richtext control....

  rtc.SaveFile("filename.doc",RichTextBoxStreamType.RichText);
