  I have series of linked tables (ODBC PostgreSQL - access front end) tht I disribute to a customer through an installation packag. I have managed to get the ODBC connection made and present in th DSN.

  but when ever open the database it cant find the ODBC conection until i refresh the tables manually

  oes anyone know why, and hwo t over come it

   In projects that I've worked on in the past, we've executed code on startup to check for linked tables and to refresh if need be. Here's some example source code:
