Some help required with talent management/attraction

    I look after the Infrastructure Services recruitment for BUPA and I am currently trying to find out from professionals in the Software Development/Designing market (mainly JAVA/Visual Basic/. Net) what the best ways of attracting professionals to our roles and I would gratefully welcome your views.

    Some of the current types of positions we are actively recruiting for are

    • Web Technologies System Designer (Java/Hibernate/UML) - London
    • Senior Software Developer (VB6 – transition to .Net in 12/18 months) - Middlesex
    • Infrastructure Project Leader (Project Management + technical knowledge of INTEL, UNIX etc) - Middlesex -

    It would be really useful for us to know,

    1. Where would you look for a new job?
    2. What are your opinions on external recruitment agencies, if positive could you recommend any one for me to approach to help us?
    3. If you would use a job board to post your CV/look for potential opportunities on,what ones do you prefer and why?
