  does VB 2008 have the ability to upload and download files to\from a web site ftp folders???

  I'm still using VB 2005 and dont have much experience with FTP but please have a look at the namespace System.Net. Especially the classes WebClient, FtpWebRequest and FtpWebResponse and their examples may be helpful.
