PHP export files

    hey guys... need your help.

    im planning to have a web page that could export the details from database to an editable file that can be stored locally (i.e: export to ms word to save in local drive)

     staffs makes a booking online and that bookin infor will be stored both in the database and  locally pluss it must be editable

    i was thinking like a mail merge or if there is any other idea please feel free to share it.
