i have an aspx page ,which has a datagrid with hyperlink column.if it is clicked another aspx page(page2 ) will be opened.... if any one clicks that hyperlink after session gets expired,i want to close that page2 and redirect the main page which contains grid to some error page...... how can i do it...... plase help me.

hi, Can i clarify something with you? if you open page 2 before hand, and then click on the link once the session has expired, i dont think there is a way to close that page 2. only if page 2 causes some action for you code to be used can you close that window. Si

hi..thanks for your reply if i click on link in page1 , after session has expired.. i am redirecting that page2 to the session expired page. in the session expired page i am providing "close" button .if user clicks that button that page2 window wil be closed.... my reqirement is ............... after closing page2 window...i want to close the page1 also.............
