  You might want to take a look at the [Dojo toolkit](http://dojotoolkit.org/). Most of the Javascript frameworks (jQuery, Mootools, etc) also include some level of drop and drag functionality. Hope that helps

  Hi all, Check out Dropthings on [http://www.codeplex.com/dropthings](http://www.codeplex.com/dropthings). It's a good sample for ASP.NET Ajax Drag and Drop behavior. As James said jQuery is a good tool for this. you can do this with a few js code. [http://ui.jquery.com/](http://ui.jquery.com/)

  I have done the similar thing with Mootools. I found some very cool tutorials about the framework from here http://www.consideropen.com/blog/tag/30-days-of-mootools/page/3/ The starters must visit these tutorials.
