Datagrid footer

    Is there a way to reference a datagrid footer directly without datagrideventargs or checking listitem.type? Something like this for the gridview but for datagrid? DirectCast(MyGridView.FooterRow.FindControl("TextO bjectToUpdate"), TextBox).Text = "NewValue".
