difficult for shutdown

  Hiiiiiiii, i've program, then i using timer for access the DB.. so if the program still running.. why i cant shutdown my pc?i should be close first the program before shutdown.. can anybody help me..

  try to observe Form_Closing, and if request happened, disconnect from DB and shutdown Timer... then yoou can probably solve this... also if your shutdowns inside closing handler failed, you can FormClosing e.Cancel = True ...
