Logical Analyzer using C#

  I want to develop a logical analyzer using C#. It will be a windows application with a catchy GUI. The waveform rendering is of importance. Can you please suggest some technologies that I can use that Microsoft provides. For example WPF(Silverlight) etc. I would be helpful if you can provide me some websites that could be of some help.

  Welcome to developerFusion! Silverlight is for a web-browser based experience. It sounds like you'll be using the full WPF if you're on a desktop. Which bit do you need help with? Actually doing the analyzing or presenting it on the form? :)

  I need help on presenting the waveform on the screen. Can you please help me with the merits and demerits of different technologies like WPF,GDI+,Open GL etc. The choice of technology should be on the basis of catchy GUI, good rendering, scalability and to some extent portability.
