write to XML file vb.net

  I'm working on some sort of roster management application. I'm planning to save every roster as an XML file. The links to the files will be stored in the following XML file: Name of the file url of the file I know how to get every filename and URL, but since I'm new to XML I don't know how to store them to this file. Any help please?
