ASP.NET Query. TO access a webpage from a network ( LAN ) computer

  Hi, I am using Visual Studio 2008. I have created a simple wepage, now I want to access it in a LAN. I read in a book that I have to Configure IIS in my system and my project. Can you tell me how to configure my project, so that I can access webpage on LAN. ( eg. http:\\192.168.100.19\mypage.aspx )

  Hi, you should really deploy your site to a machine that can be accessed on the lan, like a webserver. But, if you must have it access your machine, then you will need to set up the windows firewall to allow http requests to be passed through to the IIS instance on your machine. Am sure there will be plenty of topics on this on google. Simon C
