Problem using Tab as delimiter for reading text file‏

  Hi, I can access the text file when using vertical bar or comma as delimiter. But problem with tab. I'm using VB.NET. Pls help and thanks. Below is my sample text file. 10248 "aaa" 01012001 12.34 10249 "bbb" 20101998 11.22 Best regards, Chong MF

  Hi, This is the error message I get : The delimiter 'vbTab' can´t be found after the field 'CustId' at line 1 (the record has less fields, the delimiter is wrong or the next field must be marked as optional). Look forward to your help. Thanks.
