postback in accordion control

  Hi all, I have the following situation: an accordion control and inside one of its panes I have a drop-down and a gridview; the drop-down is a filter for the data in the gridview. The problem is that even if I checked the *AutoPostBack* for the drop-down, this soesn't seem to trigger any post back, so the data in the grid is not refreshed. If I move these two to a regular page, the mechanism is working fine. So I guess, my question is how do you get to refresh controls like the gridview inside an accordion pane? Just in case, I'm using vs2008 and LINQ data sources both for the drop-down and gridview. Thanks,
