How t oshare a varible between two MFC dll?

  hello Friends I m creating two dll in MFC and i m exporting a variable from one dll and importing same varible in other dll.The problem is if I update that variable in first dll then i m not getting that updated value of variable in second dll.o got the same that i initialize. I did all settings means copy the lib and dll file to other dll,link the lib file settings also and copied d header file too. Do i need to make any other changes or m i doing something wrong?
