Fast iList method for databinding to a visual basic combobox

  Hi, I am currently using a dataset to bind to a combobox in Visual Basic 2008 but I feel it is a sledgehammer to crack a nut. I would use a sqlclient.sqldatareader preferbly but this doesn't implement iList which is needed for a VB combobox. Anybody have a nice lightweight way of simply binding a list of data text and values to a combobox? Thanks in advance. Tom.
