executing 3rd party application

  Hi There, I am just getting my teeth into VBA and loving it, would appreciate some help from the community.

  I am developing an application in VBA and is required to execute a 3rd party application from within. The whole idea is to send the required data fields from VBA as if the 3rd party application has been execute from the desktop and data fields entered from the keyboard. Once that has been achievied then need to pass certain extracted data fields back to VBA program.
