Can I design web site by using ASP.net

  Hi All, I am new user of ASP.net I have learned and read teach yourself asp.net in 21 days book complete. But unfortunately still I am unable to design a professional web site. As I need to design and develop a professional beautiful web site but I couldn’t see and topic in this book related to my problem. Anyone can guide me please how can I use ASP.Net for designing my web site.

  Hi, it is possible to design the web site using asp.net, but for this u must know complete handling of the CSS(Cascading Style Sheet) in your web based application. For this either u can read different books related to CSS but ASP.Net having good tool to design such CSS. As u told you have read 21 days book complete, so you have to work hard on finding lots of thing such as how to handle page request from one page to another, how to write CSS file, How to invoke this CSS file in ur application etc.
