What Are Your Opinions Regarding MDD?

    Hello, IT Pros.

My name is Michael Nace -- I'm the Director of Marketing for Novulo, a leader in Model Driven Development technology for .NET Business Solutions. I joined DaniWeb because I'm always looking to network and communicate with software developers and get their feedback on our software development platform, the Novulo Architect, as well as the overall impression of MDD as an emerging technology.

As a Marketing Director, I've come to realize that there is some push-back in the development community with respect to MDD, since many regard it as a kind of "lite" development method that cannot really achieve the features and functions that your clients demand.

While this may be a valid concern for MDD in general, Novulo designed the Architect with the developer in mind: the GUI is incredibly user-friendly and helps to bridge the gap between developers and business professionals, and models allow you to build a multitude of functions and features VERY quickly. The cool thing, though, is that the Architect is a transformational MDD platform that outputs apps into C#, allowing you to create custom code for anything that you cannot model.

So I'd love to get your feedback. If you'd like to respond about your take on MDD feel free. And if you want to check out the Architect, we have a FREE, full-featured trial version on our website at http://www.novulo.com. You can give it a try and let me know what you think.

I look forward to your feedback.
