vb6 sstab freewafre control replacement?

  hello have an old vb6 applicaiton that needs an upgrade MS SS tab has 2 issues - cannot remove the tabs (want to hide them and control tabs by other UI - from code) and cannot control colors

  anyone using a freeware control that does the SS tab and has the above two features too?

  we do not need to remove, resize, add controls at run time.
