About Hire Space

Hire Space was formed in October 2011 by Will, a former teacher, and Ed, then working in politics. Will had noticed that space in schools was often underused. Ed agreed, and thought the same applied to many other venues he'd come across. Hire Space was born. Hire Space is now fully funded by a number of high profile and influential investors and is looking to recruit. Its Website is being built by the team behind Confused.com, More Than and Money Supermarket, among others, and we now need developers to take the reins and continue with the development of the site. The potential for Hire Space is huge. We want to transform the way people use publicly-available spaces. We want to involve a host of supplementary services and create a thriving marketplace around them. We want hundreds of different user groups to use Hire Space every day, and we want to have a good time making it all happen. Being at early employee at Hire Space will give you the freedom to have real input on the direction of the site and development work.
