Job summary

This is an exciting role to join our Technology team in EBS and Web Services.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Directly lead, hire and manage a team of up to 8 ESB and Java Web-Service developers • Help development team adopt Test-Driven-Development • Responsible for transitioning all the proprietary software to open-source software • Responsible for Leading and Mentoring the team • Support Team in executing projects • Ensure project initiation and closure are done as per plan and defined process • Identify resources for project requirements • Help ensuring all the software development are in line with SOA governance • Provide strategy and framework to create an agile development environment

Technical Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Experience building effective software teams • Experience designing large-scale scalable software applications • Experience implementing integration solutions using an SOA, ESB or EAI toolsets • Experience implementing messages (XML, XSD, XSL, and XSLT) and Web Services (WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI). • Experience with J2EE models, design patterns, frameworks, components and best practices • Experience with JSP, JNDI and JMS. • Familiarity with J2EE Compliant Application servers (Tomcat, Apache, or JBoss) • Experience with supporting technologies such as Subversion, Maven, Ant, and Eclipse • Proven experience managing teams in an agile development environments. Personal Skills • Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving • Willing to learn and change • Ability to Manage Personnel Resources – Motivating, developing and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to negotiate with the team or others to reconcile difference if any • Ability to understand social perceptions – Being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do
