IONA Artix for SOA

This article was originally published in VSJ, which is now part of Developer Fusion.
IONA has announced a new developer program called Artix, aimed at helping with enterprise Web Services integration. The Artix Developer Kit, which is available for free download, includes a development environment and run-time engine. These provide the core technology needed to build integration-ready applications fundamental to a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Artix is multi-platform, and supports a range of messaging protocols and programming languages.

The Artix TechZone on IONA’s web site provides a range of materials for developers looking to build service-oriented architectures, including technical notes, white papers, training courseware, and “live” Web Services, which can be used to build and test Artix-based solutions.
