IONA has announced a new developer program called Artix, aimed at helping with enterprise Web Services integration. The Artix Developer Kit, which is available for free download, includes a development environment and run-time engine. These provide the core technology needed to build integration-ready applications fundamental to a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Artix is multi-platform, and supports a range of messaging protocols and programming languages.
