QACenter enhances testing

Compuware has released a new version of its QACenter Enterprise Edition. This includes TestPartner version 5.2, with new features to improve the functional testing of complex Web, ERP and CRM applications. Also included is support for testing .NET, Java and SAP 6.20 GUI for Windows applications.

QACenter provides visual scripting and wizards to allow less experienced QA staffers to execute application tests. Other new features include:

  • .NET framework 1.1 support, making it possible to validate the functionality of .NET applications
  • SAP 6.20 GUI for Windows support
  • Execution bridge enhancement to allow TestPartner legacy tests
  • Java 1.4 support including testing of Swing and AWT applications
