OSCAR from Wilde for MDA and SOA

This article was originally published in VSJ, which is now part of Developer Fusion.
Dublin-based software company Wilde Technologies has announced the launch of a new architectural implementation platform called OSCAR (Open Source Component Application Runtime).

OSCAR uses UML technology to drive the construction of component-based software systems and, not content with conjuring up an acronym to tie in with its company name, Wilde is also keen to claim the buzzword bingo high ground by associating the new platform with both MDA and SOA.

So is there any substance beneath the hype? Visit Wilde’s web site, and judge for yourself.
