Kooaba launches Image Recognition API

Startup Kooaba have opened up a new API enabling developers to leverage their image recognition technology. The platform enables users to take pictures of every day objects, such as books, album covers or outdoor advertising billboards, and to automatically recognize these. They can then provide additional information about the object - for instance, the latest reviews of a film, or the cheapest online price for a CD you've just seen.

Kooaba currently have a database of over 10 million images that they can recognize.
