Microsoft unveils VS 2010 and .NET 4.0
By James Crowley, published on 29 Sep 2008
Microsoft today gave the first public look at what's to come in .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010. The new release promises improved software testing tools and allow collaboration across a whole array of new modelling features.
They are also including "TiVo for debuggers", aiming to eliminate non reproducible bugs, by recording the full screens and state of the application as it crashes during testing, allowing the developer to see the bug exactly as it occured.
