George Cane

Retired Electronics, Electrical and Industrial Software, Design Engineer. I've used VB Version 3 for years and have just decided to try the 2008 Express version. Mostly because of the limitation of the just 8 character file names in V3. I only program for my own amusement but have lots of small utilities that I use all the time, my diary is called every time I boot up and has done so with few modifications for getting on for 20 years. Frankly, I’m surprised that they still work well in Windows XP when I consider that version 3 was written at about the time Windows 2.2 was The latest OS.
