James first started this website when learning Visual Basic back in 1999 whilst studying his GCSEs. The site grew steadily over the years while being run as a hobby - to a regular monthly audience of over half a million unique developers. In July '08 James left his job as Head of Development at a digital agency in London to focus his energies on developerFusion full-time.

Introduction
The focus on content rather than style has never been greater, and the internet now has hundreds of thousands of sites with an extensive range of content (this site included!). However, how can we access and manipulate this wealth of information in VB? Previously, the answer was 'with difficulty', but now perhaps this will change. In this article, we will review a product called WebZinc, which claims to "turn the Web into an Object".
