Wise for Windows Installer

Customizing

The next stage is to decide what dialogs are to be shown. From here you can use the 'Setup Editor' area to edit the dialogs to change their appearance, and also insert new dialogs such as a readme page, select components page etc. You can then go on to specify multiple releases, builds and media containing certain components can be very useful when releasing multiple setup programs containing the same basic files, and spanning the setup across multiple disks.

Wise for Windows Installer even includes support for multiple languages... It has pre-translated text in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, and you can export and import the strings used in the setup for translation into other languages.

Another useful feature when releasing a new version of your application is that you can specify versions that can be updated to the current version, and the ability to release patches for your application.
