Importing or linking an ODBC from an external PC

  Hi,

  Is there a practical possibilty to import or link to an ODBC connection located on another computer.

  I mean if ODBC is on "Computer1" is there a possibiltity to see this ODBC on "Computer2".

  NB: through this I want to avoid using recordsets noting that there is no possibility for using SQL Linked Servers as we are not allowed to install Microsoft SQL Server on the source computer.

  Appreciate to kindly advise if someone has experienced something similar.
