How can I create a numbered grid

  Hi

  I wanted to know if someone can help me. I am using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005.

  I would like to create a numbered grid, eg. 1-100. the number would vary depending on what was retrieved from the database.

  When users could click on a number and their usernames would be stored in a database.

  I guess I'm ok with sending and retrieving from data from the database but I'm unsure what to use to create the grid. I thought that it might be a 'For loop' using a datagrid. But I'm new to the whole thing.

  Can anyone help?
