how to search a word.

  Here i am trying to search a word in a particular page.
  in the string i am writing like
  $str="<font color=#3366CC size=2><strong>Data
            Base:</strong></font> <br>- Microsoft Access 2002 - SQL Server 2000 Design Study Guide <br>
            - Delphi - Database application developers book - Microsoft SQL Server
            2000 - Database Design <br>
            - Java - Borland JBuilder - Developing Database application - Microsoft
            SQL Server Black Book <br>
            - Database Application - Developer's Guide - MS Press - 70-228 SQL Server
            2000 <br>";
  
  Then i am writing the code for search.
  I am giving search word like Access its working fine.
  
  But the problem is if i am giving search word as br
  Then the output will highlight all the <br> statements.
  in the same way <font>........
