seeking urgent help on aql server database connectivity

  Hello respected men 
  I got trouble to make a connection to a remote database. Here is my detailed problem: My website is developed using
  vb.net or asp.net ,But I do not know
   the exact code of the
  vb.net to connect to a remote sql
   server database  at which it is to be hosted though I know how to make it for a localhost.Generally
   My database is: Microsoft sql server
   My interface and code is:
  
  
  vb.net
   and the local ado.net I was using while I was developing it 
  in my localhost was
  

  "server name=localhost;uid = sa;pwd = test;database name = local host"

  so what do you think is the equivalent or full code to
   register and login customers to my website?
  

   If possible plz help me by posting the code in here rather than refering to another website  
  since it is nedded in a short time for my website to work its bussiness.
