  hi all,
  
   am a developer working on snmp protocol based applications, i need to know the future of
   snmp because my friends say that snmp is getting outdated since too many companies have
   come up with too many products on snmp , am confused whether to continue in this domain
   please help me with your thoughts on future of snmp.
