Directory Security and mssql_connect

  Does anybody know if there is any way to get php to connect to an ms-sql database from a secured directory with anonymous access disabled? So far I can't get it to connect to the database unless I use anonymous access, and I would really like this to be a secured php script.

  Hello,
  
  I worked with LAMP since last 1 year.
  now i tried to run my site with win 2k3, iis 6 and php 5.2.2
  I found problem in DB connection.
  My Db server on different machine (server).
  i tried to connect using mssql and odbc but both not working.
  
  I copied relative files from c:\php\ext to c:\windows\system32 directory. though connection cann't established.
  
  If any one can guide me how to solve my problem ?
