Log4net - SmtpAppender - Sending the mail

  I have finally managed to send mail with my windows service in VB.net. Now I have another problem challenge the whole solution. If I have 3 errors, 3 mails will be sent _only_ when I stop the service manual. Same thing happens with ordinary windows applications. The mail sends when I close the application.

  I have tried to find a solution at log4nets homesite with no success.

  Any ideas or solutions?

  I think the problem is in your service if you dont paste the code I think you are nor going to get any help.

  Solution: Some times it takes longer to send mail. Don't now why, if the GC matters in some way. But now I recive mail when error.
