Vb .NET benifits over VB6

    I have been creating database applications in VB for many years. ( I started when VB3 came out).  I have been able to achieve anything my clients have asked for, using VB6.  Can anyone point out some benifits of changing to VB .NET as my programming language.  I have a strong understanding of VB6 and don't want to start all over in a new language unless there are real benifits for me and my clients.  Thanks
