C# Text to string to Hex

  I've got a slight problem here, what im wanting to do add text into a string which then converts into Hex and saves into another string which then displays the result into the textbox i have created on my gui form.

  Ino from when i used VB at college, you declare integers etc, but with me being completely new to C#, a guiding hand wont come in bad at all, can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
