What's the Best way to create Reports in a web Application

Hi All, I am working on a web application where I have reached a point where I have to present the data as reports. I am in a dilemma where I am unable to decide which option I should choose. I have Crystal Reports by Seagates which I believe will be a heavy reporting tool in a web application. Then I have XML(I'll have to do the R&D for this before I can build any report ). There will be other techniques also which can be used for Reports in a web application. Can anyone focus some light on this issue. Regards, Royal
