  hello friend , i want to upload a file using jsp. i want to show default file type(e.g ."xls") in File of Type during upload a file when user click upload . Please suggest me how to do it. Thanks Deepak

  In asp.net 2005 file upload control does not support for file type filter also at every postback the file name or the path would get erased or get dissapeared so that one have to save path or file name through state management. **mayank nagar**
