I am using Net 3.5 AjaxControlToolkit CascadingDropDowns in my application. These are using webservices to populate the values from a database and they work perfectly. Now, I am using this in a real world application and I need to set the initial values of these in the page load event. It appears that the CascadingDropDowns (which are being self-filled by a webservice) have not been loaded prior to the Page Load event therefore ddl.SelectedValue = "1" does not work in the page load event. Question: How are you getting around this in your .Net 3.5 AjaxControlToolkit CascadingDropDowns application?
